 SOUND

All sounds are created by something that vibrates. The following hands-on activities can be performed at home or in the classroom to demonstrate this science concept.

 MAGNETISM

The Earth is a giant magnet with a north and a south magnetic pole.  Its hot liquid center core contains iron and, as it moves, it creates an electric current that causes a magnetic field around it.  This is exemplified in the following demonstration:
